Thanks for the PD, I'm home!

I just wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and pixie dust while I was in the hospital. I came home a couple of days ago and have been resting quietly with my family. My doctors say that I was very lucky on two counts; one - my case of GBS was mild and two - I got to the hospital quickly enough so that treatments could be started right away. My doctors say that I have a long road ahead of me and that I have to be patient (that was not a word in my vocabulary before I became sick)! Unfortunately, this past Friday I found out how long that road is going to be when the left side of my face was hit with a dose of Bell's Palsy. I will be going to therapy to improve my eyesight and to help get my coordination back in my hands. If all goes well and I follow doctor's orders I should be back to full health in the near future. Thankfully, though, I have achieved one goal and that was to be out of the hospital by Christmas so that I could be home with my family! So once again thanks for all your positive thoughts. I hope everyone has a Happy Holiday season! God bless us one and all !!!

Nice to see you home, Tim, and a very Merry Christmas for you and your family. Great you are home and on the mend, I know of several folks with GBS and all have done so well, I know you will too. And with us missing each other earlier this month, all the more reason to head down to WDW again next year, hope to see you then. Take care, and listen to the Chief.
