Thanks for the good driving weather pixies, it worked!

We left home here in NS on Tuesday Jan 23 and flew out of Manchester NH on the 25th; returned on Feb 10-11, and the weather and driving, all 2200 kms, were amazing. Clear and dry roads all the way, with a minor flurry for about an hour on the way down in Maine. Couldn't ask for better winter driving. We did go through Woodstock/Houlton to stick to the I-95 instead of taking the Airline rte through Calais. Overall it was fast, clear and good.

Where did you stay? Eat? Favourite attraction? Best souvie bargain? Flight on SW?

We neeeeeeed details!

LOL! I promised myself I would keep down my board time until I UNPACKED! I can't wait to rehash all the details, but lord, you should see my family room where we dumped everything as we brought it in...we bought TWO large suitcases in addition to the SEVEN pieces of checked luggage we already had...sigh. (I bought towels. Exciting, eh? And laundry has greater volume than its clean equivilent.)

We met FORTY THREE characters and walked on to just about everything. We froze for the first week (ok, I also bought a few extra pairs of long pants and socks as I didn't pack enough cosy clothes) but it kept people away in droves. Most fun? We had matching "Incredibles" t's for all 4 of us and wore them to MGM for the photo op (Elastigirl is my hero). I have short-ish red hair and some poor little girl *kept* running in to me and *kept* asking me if I was Elastigirl. Totally made my day, though I felt bad about confusing her!

We had a great trip. Yes, more later.
