In December took my family on a cruise for my parents' 45th anniversary. My DM had always wanted to stay at AKL so upgraded parents and DD,DH and myself to AKL CL. After my parents were texted and told their room was ready around 3:30, we were told by the Concierge at check in that it wasn't. Fortunately my room was ready right before dinner so they could stow their things in my room until their room was ready-at 8PM.

I'd stewed upon this for a while, hoping that I would view it more favorably, but didn't. When the time came, searched these boards and found the email: wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com
I received not only an auto reply, but 3 days later a personal email as well as phone call. I was able to discuss my concerns with CM Kelly, who was receptive. She also informed me that there had been an offer (declined since we weren't going to the parks) of FPs and a credit given to the card put on file for incidentals (which I knew nothing about since it wasn't mine...parents!).

Anyway, thanks DIS!
