DH and I were talking and decided to get a fridge in our room and we looked at the cost of preferred ASMo w/ fridge and Standard Mod and decided to go with Mod and fridge should be free. Also DSD has been getting overloaded lately at times with too much sound, color etc and I think this will be a better fit.

Anything I need to know on POR???? We have a 3 and a 1 year old.

You might want to go to the map on this site and take a look. There are two areas at Riverside: Mansions and Alligator Bayou. Both have same size rooms and same things in them they just have different themes. You can request a certain theme. Bayou is more rustic and the mansions probably most consider more elegant. We prefer the bayou section. We like Bldg. 14 or 15 as they are closest to the food court and main building. Someone can also help you with the mansions but we haven't stayed there.

This resort is spread out and fairly big. There are four bus stops as well as a main water rec area and several quiet pools. Food court has a pretty good selection and they have a sit down restaurant.

Keep in mind that you can use the pool at the PO FQ as the two resorts are sister resorts. You might find this pool fits the young ones better. The slide is much smaller, if your 3 year old is a swimmer. Our son went down it at that age. It is also a cute theme that our DS liked at that age -- alligators playing instruments and the instruments shooting water. You can also use the playground there which is much more friendly to that age. It is very compact and easier for them to navigate than the one at Riverside.

The boat ride to Downtown Disney is very nice but can get cool at night depending on when you are going so bring a jacket for the young ones as my DS always gets cold no matter what time of the year. Downtown Disney is just a short ways down the river and a fun spot to go with the kids. There are things for them to explore that they will like plus some shopping that is pretty good.
