Hey I had my interview on March 9th for the fall advantage program and I just got an email on March 19th saying thanks for interviewing and it would be another 4 to 6 weeks before I hear from them again! Has anyone else gotten this? I'm just really nervous I really want to get accepted and I don't want to have to wait another 4-6 weeks to find out!

I have been hearing a lot of people find out really quick or at least within 3 weeks, so I'm worried that its not a good sign that it is taking so long for me.
Does anyone know of anyone who hasn't been accepted yet? Are my chances not very good? Ahh I'm soo nervous I really want this! Please write back, Thanks!

The time you waited goes with the 4-6 weeks so now you're just 3-5ish.
And time has nothing to do with it...
Some people just get unlucky!! :confused3:confused3
(I waited for 7 days before my email )

I interviewed March 6th, my acceptance letter was date March 18th, and I received an email from my interviewer March 19th.

lexismith20, I just got an e-mail as well. I interviewed Sat. March 14th, then went to my audition Friday March 20th then got my e-mail this past Monday. These e-mails are common from what I have read and heard, and it means that even if you get your packet (or whatever comes) your recruiter will contact you after that to prepare you and give you some info. It also may be sooner. The recruiters say 2-3 weeks before you hear about a decision for auditions or 2-3 weeks after your interview before you hear, and yet people receive packets or letters or e-mails 6-10 days after (10 seems most common). Yet some people wait a month. It also seems to have something to do with if you do an E-Presentation or a live one. So I got the same e-mail, I don't think it is anything to worry about. It means that your application went through and you are one step closer with getting a recruiter!!!!

I interviewed yesterday and got the thank you for interviewing email today...I'm hoping thats a good sign

lexismith20, I also got that e-mail. I think that you should re-read that e-mail. You will be hearing back from your recruiter in 4-6 weeks. However, both my interviewer and auditioner told me that it would be 2-3 weeks. Everyone I talked to has said 2-3 weeks from either interview or the date you receive the audition yes/no e-mail (which was today for Rochester auditioners, btw; mine was a no sadly lol) and so you may get a packet in 2-3 weeks (usually it is less, the average is 10 days) and then your recruiter will contact you after that to help you with the specialized info and accepting, etc. So you may have to wait another 5 weeks, but I would bet on 10 days-3 weeks. Getting it earlier or later is neither good nor bad, just remember they are sending out thousands every day, and processing a ton of calls, e-mails and applications and it's a tough day, people can only do so much, and while those Cast Members are truly EXTRAORDINARY!! they are still human. So don't worry. As my mom told me today, this is the hardest part, you have done all you can, don't be the pesky person who keeps calling and e-mailing (I have pretty much e-mailed everyone I talked to or contacted!!! lol) now it is time to sit on your hands, distract yourself as much as possible and WAIT!!! All the best, Good Luck!!!
Have a Magical Day!!! (And Hang In There!!!)
