:cool1: This home is absoutely perfect ! It has 6 bedrooms though we only needed 4, the amenities were first class. Beautiful master bedrooms, 53 inch tv, lake view, pool with gas and solar heat and spa. Games room with pool table and air hockey, foosball. I can see the kids 'room hopping' though :goodvibes. Its a little more expensive than the first one I saw in Liberty Village, but it is much more upscale and has hot the spa I needed! Its situated in Sunrise Lakes Clermont. If anyone has any more info on the area I would be grateful. It looks like a good location on the map. We will be at WDW for 1 week at POP then at the home for 1 week to do USO, Beach, WDW at leisure.

WOW! The house sounds great :thumbsup2 ! You're on your way to a vacation of a lifetime. I am totally sold on villa vacations. I now find it unexciting to stay in a hotel room, anywhere, since our Orlando villa vacation. To me...there's just no other way to go. :cool1:

Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing, I have bookmarked this b/c I noticed they can join with the neighbors and get 2 houses next to eachother which we have considered for a family reunion but wondered how to find! :sunny:

I have just started planning a May '07  vacation and the houses at All-Star is where I ended up. I like the idea of the free rental car. :cheer2: Having a pool at the house sounds great after a hot day at the parks. My son was sold when he found out that they have a Playstation. :cool1:

Hi Shan. What is their website. We are planning to go to Disney for a week in November and having a house with a car and Playstation would be great. Thanks.

Joanne :)

Here's the link to the main site: http://www.allstarvacationhomes.com/

Also, check out the link below, in my signature, to "our" house that we stayed in last year. I STILL haven't been able to find a comparable home (with media room & game room with multiple game sets, bedroom configuration etc.) for our group of 12 for next year.

I can't rave enough about the quality of these homes. They cost quite a bit more...but it was worth it :thumbsup2 ! We LOVE  "our" home.

Have a wonderful vacation. There is a home for every one I think. Glad you found a good fit.

We found a great vacation rental through VRBO.com. We are renting a 3BR pool home in Chatham Park for the week of Thanksgiving. The total including taxes, pool heat, etc. is $861.25. The best part is we can bring our little fur babies (two male pugs who think they're people) with us. The owner is only charging us $65 additional. The house has everything we have been looking for: free phone, high speed internet, PS2, heated pool. We figured that by doing this, we will save over $350 in kennel fees for the week we are gone. Subtract that from the total, and the house is really only costing us about $75 a night. I will definitely have to post a review when we get back. Thanks for everyone for the great information that led to this find.

So glad I saw this post as we are renting this very house (Citrus Palms) for 2 weeks in June! I can't wait, it will be our first trip to WDW! Can you tell me how convenient it was in terms of driving? For example, is it unrealistic to expect to be able to go to a park in the morning, drive "home" and then go back later that evening?
Thanks!

Part of the reason All Star Homes cost more, is they force the owners to put in very high end furniture, decorating, electronics, amenities, etc, or they won't even take the home under mgmt. They actually insist that the owners use their furniture company in the area to get the home up to their high specifications. We did the same thing ourselves, just not through them. Most owners use the local furniture "package" stores and don't end up with nearly as high end furniture and amenities, we tried to go this route and they wouldn't let us pick out things like wall hangings, flat screen TVs, even the dishes! My wife finally left the furniture store in total frustration after spending 6 hours there trying to work with them, and said we're just going to have to do it all ourselves! LOL

I tell guests this all the time though..."you get what you pay for". This is true with All Star...and other places too. The homes with the high end furniture, decorating, electronics (flat screen HD TVs, video games, etc), high end mattresses and linens...well naturally they're going to cost slightly more! Amazing that people try and "beat us up" over a $100 difference in a weekly rental over a place that's 10x nicer sometimes... I just scratch my head...LOL.
