Just wanted to say thanks to Gail Hayden and other rental experts.

I had reserved National EA 9/1-9/8 for 169 total but w/advise to keep checking and playing with codes, just lowered it to 151 total for the week!

I swear, I had entered the same code information when I booked the first time and it was higher. I did have to make a new reservation to get the better rate and cancel the old. Modify wouldn't pick up the lower rate.

I used WWEB as Product code
Old DC Contract ID found on mousesavers
DC $20.00 coupon

Thanks!
Sharon

Hey, glad to hear we could help!!! We are going to be there at the same time. (Well actually I arrive the day before :) )

Really nice rate, btw. Good for you!!!

you could have gotten the same "rate" without using the WWEB "product rate code"

the product rate code does work sometimes but have never had success using it in combinatioin with DC code and entertainment coupons

Hopefully you are still a member of DC. I am not sure, but, I believe they will ask for the card. I would be able to reduce my reservation by about 25.00 with the DC code, but, I expired in November and I cannot renew, so, I did not use the code.

Well, it appears I expire this Nov. Cannot find the card, so, I called National in Orlando, explained the situation and was assured that I would have no problem using the discount.

Yes! I did renew my DC. Getting my money's worth out of it this year with rental car discount, $50.00 off Fairytale package and my last use will be to get a AAA membership and $10 off for that!

Thanks, Sharon

do you expire this november or last november, it is not clear from your statement

Actually it is this Nov.(as I found out from some info I dug up, but, NOT the card, darn it). It will take too long to replace the card, hence the phone call to National in Orlando and I was on edge about using the discount without having the card. Poorly written post on my part, I was distracted and my memory, lately, is shot.
