Thanks Everyone we leave tomarrow for our 1st DL Trip!!!

I don't know if I'll have time to surf tomarrow but I want to thank everyone on this BB for their generosity and kindness in answering endless questions with enthusiasm. You helped make planning and obsessing fun We arrive in So. Calif tomarrow and are planning on doing a little touring before DL (Legoland, Calif Science Ctr for Star Wars Exhibit and beach) then on weds we go to DL for 9 days of glorious Disney time. Thanks again and Raising my right hand I hereby promise to utilize FP and use EE everyday it is available. Most of all I promise to appreciate Walt's Place for all the magic it holds and to try to spread pixie dust whenever I can and pay it forward where ever I see the need. And if I see any lime green I will wave hi and wish you a magical day. (I must admit I need to get some lime green its on my list ) Thanks again drom a very grateful Diser.

Thanks everyone . The kids still don't know and I can't believe they haven't found out yet!! We are going to just load them in the van and take a ride and say "Lets go for a ride. " "I'll ask where?" "My DH will say the airport"and I'm going to say "OK but then where?" and if the kids don't say it I'll say how about Disneyland?? And DH will say alright" Are we geeks or what!!

Not geeks, you are totally cool parents!! DH and I do weird scripted crazy stuff like that too!! Do you leave super early so it will be right after you wake them or is it later?

We have a 4pm flight so we'll leave home @ 1:30. We'll let them sleep late and take it easy. We've been watching the Travel Channel special on DL on Tivo for months to get them used to DL (we're WDW vets they're very familar with WDW) They talk about what ride they would fo etc.. We also have park maps that they study and plan on. So hopefully they'll be comfortable and thrilled.

Have a great time. Our stroller is lime green and I have a lanyard with a LGMHPC so please do stop me and say Hi! It would be great to see another disser at DL.

I agree that everyone here has been more than helpful in answering questions. Matterhorn has really done some serious hand holding with me and I feel comfortable going to DL.
