I managed to read about 10 responses to my thread before it went POOF! I do believe I didn't swear, raise my voice, or say anything not family related. I even have used this site's travel agents in the past.

Why did my post go poof? I don't know. I haven't received a PM about it or an email. I am not even sure who to contact to ask why my thread was erased.

Thank you to those that did read it, and to those that posted. May we never stop learning from each other.

I know, but thanks for the warning. I figured it was about time I stood up and said something. Me thinking it wasn't getting anything done. I guess I decided to finally use the advice I always tend to give my students!

It doesn't matter. They won't respond to you anyway. I was attacked via PM by someone yesterday. Reported it to the Webmasters and apparently no action was taken and I didn't receive any replies.

I don't think they moderate PM's, do they? Personally I would never report a PM to a moderator, they are moderators, not babysitters. If I don't like a person's PM I just delete it.

As said by Chatty above, the WM's, mostly Alex over the years, have repeatedly stated that they do not, can not (without MUCH time and difficulty) read, and therefore do not monitor PM's. PM's are that, private, so it has been said. That said, as with anything on the Net, if you feel you might not want something potentially made public, somewhere, someday, don't put it in writing on the Net, in any form.

And, Debbie, if you feel you want an answer to something and you are not satisfied with a response, or lack of one, send an email to Pete, webmaster@wdwinfo.com. I have done that over the years and most often get a response and his thoughts. He is not around much anymore here on the boards, but it still is his place and might appreciate hearing your thoughts.
