I just wanted to say "Thank You" to everyone who shares information & stories on this board. For our recent trip to WDW, I had to rent a scooter for the first time because I'm recovering from a recent surgery and knew that I would not be able to make it through an entire day of walking at the parks. I have a young child who's been through a lot these past couple of months because of my surgery, hospital stay & recovery, so I really wanted this trip to be a fun, care-free time for her. The last thing I wanted was to leave her and DH in the parks while I went back to rest at the resort or for me to be so tired that I wasn't able to go to the parks at all. Being together and having fun as a family was really important to all of us. The information I gathered on this disABILITIES forum helped us have that wonderful, fun-filled trip. I'm so grateful for this forum & the people on it who share their stories so others can enjoy their trips!
