I just want to thanks to all.
My first trip to Disney was in July 1972 with my parents and I was hooked. I returned a few more times until 1980 when I was out on my own and began making the trek, usually twice a year.
Having been a police officer for over 30 years now, and for the last 15 I have run a crime scene unit, Disney is my 'down time' from being on call 24/7 with an average workweek approaching 60 hours. It is a time I can truly relax with my family and enjoy. My 2 girls have grown up Disney, starting as early as 2 months old. Both of them even opted to do Disney as their graduation trips and brought some friends along.
I know that many of you make sacrifices to be there for us, the guests, when you would rather be at home at times, especially during holidays & other special days. But your presense there, with a smile, makes it a magical time for us.
Over the years I have never ceased to be amazed at the restraint Cast Members display when they are being berated by guests, usually over some non-sense, and handle it while smile (sometimes a little forced).
Your efforts and teamwork are greatly appreciated.
