THANK YOU to WISHers out on the course!!

Oh my goodness, without the Wishers, I don't think I could of done this! Their support on the coarse was immeasurable.

The oranges, twizzlers, pretzels and the cheering. Oh my, I can't say thank you enough. You all made our very first full doable.

I wish I knew more of you, as I feel so overwhelmed at the meet and kind of 'stick' by the few I do know.

Hubby is already talking about next year. Not sure yet which race, but we'll be there to give back some of that support and encouragement we got!

thank you again Wishers, you are an amazing group. Also a shout out to the motto on the back of the shirts, so many people commented to us on them.

Thanks guys! I got very excited when I saw the WISH shirts along the way!

If anyone got some pics of DH and I at the full please send me a PM. DH dropped our camera in the first mile and it switched to movie mode. We didn't realize this until after the race and then all we had was small movies of us cursing at the camera wondering why it wouldn't snap. We both had our WISH shirts on and I was wearing a Minnie hat and Minnie running skirt. Thanks!!!

Just got home - Jim and I had an awesome time cheering for everyone. The expressions on people's faces when they realized we were passing out goodies was priceless. At one point Jim was like a momma bird feeding her babies in the nest - he must have had a group of seven runners standing around him with their hands out!

WISHers are really such a great, supportive group and I am so glad to be part of this community.

Wishers are the best!!! Although I was not sporting my colors during the weekend, everyone I ran into during the 1/2 & full were more than encouraging.

Congratulations to all the WISHERS! It was soooo much fun seeing everyone this past weekend.

Another HUGE thank you to all the WISHers out there scream teaming it.

I never, NEVER, would have finished my first & only Full without the WISHers out on that course. I cried every time I came upon my teammates. (and I HATE too cry in front of anyone) I was having such a hard time out there, I very nearly crawled onto the sweeper bus voluntarily at each mile.

An especially big shout out to Kathy V. along with my hubby Chad - if they hadn't come all the way back into MGM to walk me to the finish line.... Well, I never would have finished (no exaggeration).

And that's true love - when your hubby finishes Goofy, then literally runs 4+ miles back down the course into MGM to save his wife & help her finish.

Maybe I should explain for those not on facebook.....while we were outside AK cheering a woman went past Jim, skidded to a stop when she realized he was offering pretzels, shouted out "I love you", grabbed the pretzels, and gave him a full body hug followed by a great big kiss! It is perhaps the only time I have seen Jim speechless.
