BLUE CREW, WOOT!
I just want to thank my team. We were all in blue skin and some of us had signatures that said "Geek till the end!"


I would not have made it through with out the help of the team, and I am happy I was able to help some of you through as well!

Some of the blue crew who's titles I can remember off the top of my head: KahneFan (thanks to the insane degree), PrincessPaisley, Max_Power (and co...), GeologyGirl, SadieFaye, bluebonnet, alphapopprincess, Ostrichjockey, Ymergirl, Terfer, PirateChip, PrinceEthan, ThumperBelle, Longears, Princess_Angelika, AcceptRich, KhakiPear... , Ruby?..., FleaCircusAcrobat, and tofubeast (haha) +the others in blue who I can't remember their titles (sorry).


Now for the tips....
If such an (awful, annoying, difficult) quest ever comes up again where you need such an insane score in pirates etc.. I recommend what we did.

1) Have a game plan and make sure all players know the rules
2) Pick a similar look (we chose to have blue skin) so you know who is on your team
3) Stick with the same lobby
4) Create a "winner" order list and stick to it for the most part
5) Rather than worrying about having particular people in the room together, we just tried to have 6 from the overall team in the lobby. We had many more people in the blue crew than just the 6 required for us to start a game, but it helped us keep moving in starting games and allowed for people to rotate in the team and out after they had helped sufficiently after passing the task. So it reduced the waiting time in the lobby because once we had 6, we went in to battle. We tried to keep the winner, and the next in line on different rotations to stick to the list and it worked.
6) We kept a hang out room open the whole time so that way people could chat between games and such.

While the quest was difficult etc...etc.. I too am happy to have added to my friends list. However new and old friends, please DO NOT invite me to play a game of pirates for the next month or so! I will happily meet you in the mansion for a nice game of ghosts!

As the Quest draws near to a close, I want to give a huge THANK YOU to my team
of amazing helpers - Cruiselinefan, KrazyPete, Matty_D, FlyingPegasus, and Qruthie.
They all put in countless hours beyond imagination, sacrificed their time and energy and families,
ignored all bodily functions , endured awful headaches, cramped joints, burning
eyes...

I have walked away from this "experience" with an overwhelming appreciation
for each one of you. I have some VERY AMAZING friends!! And now I'm
getting all teary-eyed... I know how some of you hate to see me cry, LOL!

I will carry these memories with me for a long time.

I remember paloma91 when it was her turn to win... getting stuck on the rocks
and crying over and over "omg! omg!" (poor thing) as we all tried to comfort her telling her it's okay -
we could still win this for her even with her stuck. (And we did!)

Or after waiting in a 45 minute queue to get into the pirate lobby, Cruiselinefan then
proceeds to start a FLAG game. Imagine our horror when the game loads and we see these
STUPID LITTLE FLAGS AT BASE!! Good thing you're only pixels, girly

Fun times!

This quest was downright cruel, no doubt about it, but in a very weird way, I am going
to miss it, I think. Through these maddenly frustrating times, we have all somehow
bonded closer together as we worked together for hours on end, and I am thrilled to
have made new friends through this quest.

There were some great folks on VMK the last few days that went above and beyond to help others and keep the magic alive. The took time away from their quest and not to mention the time out their lives to help people they don't even really know.

I would like to say thanks to thanks Car, Lady, Silly, Beam, Jedi,Tigger, Tigerbella, and many others that helped me through this quest. Lady, you were my anchor and Beam- the wall that held me up. I know this sounds a bit dramatic, but it really meant ALOT to me that so many showed up in the lobby with " May, i'm here to help". Ya'll really blew me away when i realised you were WAITING at the mansion lobby to help me get my ghosts.


I really was ready to give up the quest and vmk just because i shamefully spent too much time on it this weekend for things that don't really exist.

I apologize to those of you I may have offended or upset. It wasn't and will never be my intention or my nature to purposely hurt my friends'.

After the quest was suddenly ended Illusionistic opened a room for those who were sad and needed a pick me up. It was great to have so many people there for support and understanding. I was one of the people who did not make it through, he was very compassionate and generous and made me feel so much better. We should have more like him on VMK. For my part Illusionistic you are a true King amongst princes. Thank you so much for your understanding, generousity. VMK is a better place with you, although I am not on your friends list I hope to see you ofter in VMK. I know you worked hard to help so many and you deserve to be commended for that. I just wanted you to know how appreciated you were and enjoyed my time with you.
