We used these vouchers on our last trip Nov 4-14th.

We used 3 Adult Vouchers and 1 Child= $105.50 (ordered from Hotwire). Our bill came to $314.45 including tip and tax. Total savings was $189.45

I'm not the OP, but it's Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom.

One question - was the child in the party allowed to order an appetizer with their voucher? Sounds like I won't need to worry about it, but I figured I'd ask anway.

Thanks! :)

Thanks for posting! Looks like you had a very generous waiter! :flower1:

We are going to WDW in January. We are family of 4, two adults and boys age 9 and 6. The boys are not big eaters. How many vouchers should I plan on? My 6 year old would love to go to the Rainforest Cafe there. He wanted to go in last time but it was around Easter and we did not have reservation.

It was infact Rainforest.

Response to JJNV:
I would only get the vouchers for 1adult and 1 child. You could try to get 2 childrens vouchers if your brave.(I'm not). Remember, the child can order off of the adult menu. Tell the server that you are going to split the meals, they will put them on seperate plates for you.
Hope this helps. Have a great trip.

Hope your son is braver than mine. My DS5 got hysterical and hid his head in my lap every time the gorillas started making noise. He did not like it at all. We went back a second time and ask to be in the quietest possible place. He was still stressed out by the noises.

As for the reservation, the best bargain I have found is to join the Safari Club. Go to the Rainforest Cafe website and check it out. It's something like $10 to join, but they send you a voucher for a future visit for the $10. They also send you a voucher for your birthday. The card allows you to basically bypass the lines. We walked up and waited less than 20 minutes on our last visit. And we spent our vouchers for discounted shirts in the gift shop that were already a great bargain.

Could my dd and I share an adult voucher? Was it the VKL voucher you used? I'm trying to decide how many and what kind to get. I'm looking at doing some breakfast char. meal buffets and getting some Q&C for beaches&cream. Any thoughts? Will my dd and I need our own for each meal or could we share an adult one?

Thanks for everyone who responded to me. We have a rainforest cafe in our area. My boys are used to the noise and everything. So they will be fine.

I will sign up for the club. I thought about it before too. But I did not know you can bypass the line with it. I only know the free desert.

I will try 1 adult and 1 kid voucher. My kids cannot even finish half of the their regular kids meal. So what can the kids order using kid voucher? A kid's meal and a desert?

This is my daughter. She has hated that place since she was a baby. We haven't been there in a long time, at least a year. We went tonight, which she agreed to, and we prepared her. But she freaked. I was such an idiot and didn't say anything about putting us in a quiet place. We got put RIGHT in the middle of the Gorillas, which is the worst area I think. She hid in DH's arm the whole time and didn't eat, she was so scared. When we left she said the next time we come, we have to sit in the water area, where it isn't so scary! LOL!

Yes, he certainly was. :) However, it's in the server's best interest to help people use the vouchers to get as much food as possible - because tip is included, and more spent means more automatic tip. Also, when people get what they feel is a great value, as this meal seemed to be, they tend to leave an additional tip often as well.

Glad to hear the OP had such a good time and got such a great value!
