Hi, I am a fairly new poster on this board. And I've only asked people for designs, I haven't designed anythiny myself because I don't have a creative bone in my body.
I want to say thank you, especially to Amy and Pat, for making the designs I asked for so quickly. I'm sitting here crying (tears of happiness) because of the kindness of strangers. Let me explain:
The last time I went to Disney World was August of 1996, for my honeymoon. On the second day of our honeymoon, after being at the Magic Kingdom all day, we went back to the room and there was a message from my mom. My father had passed away unexpectadly. He had been fine four days earlier when he danced with me at my wedding, but had an aneurysum (sp?). We flew home the next morning.
I haven't been to Disney since. Not that I blame it on Disney at all, but the thought of going just brought back the feelings I had when I got the phone call.
Well, my kids are 6 and 8 and have never been. Last summer I decided it wasn't fair to not take them. So I've been planning this trip (we leave in 18 days) for over a year. I am trying to make it as special for them as humanly possible. I have dinner reservations at a bunch of character dining, BBB reservation, CRT ressies, pirate cruise for them, personalized autograph books, tinkerbell gifts, and now these personalized t-shirts.
So thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have not only helped to make this trip special for a 6 and 8 year old, but also for a 34 year old who needed to be reminded of what a special place Disney is. And I know my dad will be watching us from up above and smiling.
Thank you.
