Sorry, this is a little long...and if it's in the wrong place, please move for me......
We just got back for 3 quick days. 1 1/2 day at MK w/1/2 day at other 3 parks
With all the tips I learned on the Dis, we were able to do so much!! Even though the parks were packed, the longest wait was around 20 min for Elsa/Anna. And took advantage of every photographer we saw.
What I was able to do thanks to the help from here:
Thurs: EMH Epcot-ADR Akershus-(break)-DHS-ADR 1900 Park Fare-watch last night of Wishes from dock!!!
rope dropped Soaring, rode Seas, then scanned bands to make FP for TSM. was 4th in line for Character Spot to open...headed to 9:45 breakfast. Met Anna/Elsa, walked around and realized we could meet Mulan...then went to our 11:35 FP for FEA...went to TTalk before heading to hotel around 12:30.
DHS, we walked in on the 1st Order March!! Saw Frozen sing-a-long & rode TSM before heading to ADR at 1900 Park Fare @ 7..and was able to watch Wishes from the dock!!
Fri: EMH MK-ADR Crystal Palace-(break)-AK-ADR Tusker House w/ROL
rope dropped PPan....met the 4 princesses with barely a wait. Lined up with hundreds and headed to Splash at 9:00 (OMG, it was so crowded). Barely waited for our seat!! Wanted to do Thunder but line was too long. Headed to ride Magic Carpets & it was down. Walked up to meet Aladdin & Jasmine to be told they just stopped taking more in line. Back over & rode Small World & Philharmagic (which was on my plan for next day) before breakfast at CP. Headed to see Tink but, line was too long. Left park by noon.
AK was so packed and so hot...we stuck to mainly our FP agenda....met Mickey/Minnie, Kali River & Safari. We did take time for It's a bugs life. Tusker House was awesome interaction. Had perfect seats for ROL with dinning package. But, we did notice it was filling up an hour before time...so, we decided to sit & wait.
Sat: PPO breakfast ADR BOG-(break)-dinner ADR BOG....best morning!!!
We were 1st row at opening....headed straight to last photographer for pics in front of castle w/no one behind us!!! Went to breakfast which I had pre-ordered (Awesome tip).
We were in line around 8:40 for 7DMT and probably 10th in line!!! We were able to ride 2x before the crowd of people came in. (And had a FP for 10:30!!!)
Before leaving at noon for a break we did 7DMT 3x, met Ariel, rode Under the Sea, Barnstomer 2x, Dumbo, Teacups, Tales w/Belle, People Mover & I rode Space Mtn (FP) while other 2 rode race cars (FP).
On bus back to hotel, I was able to grab FP for Tink before dinner!!!!
The only timing that did not work out.....7:10 ADR at BOG...planned on finishing in enough time to find a spot for HEA...but, did not get out of dinner until 9:00. So, we watched fireworks while we weaved around trying to get out of the park. Only thing we did see (which was my pixie dust moment), found an opening in the sight line as soon as Tink started to fly!!!! Tears streaming down my face, we made it inside the shops and headed to exit with the beginning of the crowd!!!
Such a magical ending to a perfect trip!!!
This was only our 2nd trip (1st was in 2013) and since we only had 3 days, planning was so important.
Thanks to learning so much here, we did more than we had planned. Can't wait to go back!!!
