I, like all the pod cast team, have been overwhelmed re: the outpouring of caring & concern from all the dis-ers/pod cast listeners. I have been quietly reading all the postings since Bob passed away & have derived sooo much comfort from reading them & seeing the pictures.
I am ok, as are Brian, Erin, & Matt. We have myriad wonderful memories of Bob to carry us through as well as the support of our good friends.
I thank you & hope you all stay with the Dis & continue to enjoy the site & the pod casts (when the team resumes them)

Thanks so much for posting. My wife Mary and I met you, Bob and Brian at the podcast meet in December. We are so happy that we had the chance to meet Bob "in person" even though we felt we knew him already from the podcast. Being New Englander's from the Boston area (Brockton & N. Attleboro), we never felt that Bob HAD an accent.

I had such a good time speaking to Bob about where I could get fried whole belly clams and other culinary delights near Disney. He gave me quite a few tips on a wide range of subjects. He will be sorely missed by his many fans.

Our sincere condolences go out to you and your family.

There are no good or perfect words to say. We all feel like we have lost someone, but not to the extent you have. You are in my prayers daily and I want to just give you a thank you for sharing your husband's time through the years with all of us. I have just started listening, but have been going back and downloading previous podcasts. From everything I have listened to, Bob was a special person who I only wish I had met in real life. You continue to be in my heartfelt prayers.

When you think about it, you don't really have to thank us. You should be thanking Bob, because he is the one who has had that impact on our lives so much so that we feel like we knew him and had to pay our respects. He was a great man.

I came across a quote that reminded me of Bob. It made me chuckle. It's from Winston Churchill:

"I am ready to meet my Maker. Whether my Maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter."

Words do no justification for the warmth that your husband brought to the Dis Unplugged Podcast. The entire team seemed to have felt like they knew a great MAN. A great man that would lend a helping hand in a blink of an eye and maybe faster if it were not for his "PAUSES"...(quietly laughing). You Husband, Father to your children, and butt of all wise cracks on the podcast came across to me as a GREAT MAN, A GENTLEMEN AND A SCHOLAR. He is truely what represents what is right with the HUMAN RACE. He showed everyone what is meant by treating everyone that you come in contact with like your brother or your sister. Everyone was family to BOB and that type of humanity will not be overlooked. I know he is up in the heavens planning all the events and looking down at us from the "...FAR WEST SIDE of Heaven...." He will be missed but never forgotten.
