Thank You Mears / DME

I did something dumb. I put a carryon luggage on the overheard compartment of a DME bus from MCO to POP and neglected to take it off when we arrived at POP!

The luggage contained my work laptop, two iTouches, an iPod nano, a Nikon DSLR camera, a HD Flip Mino, wires for all these gadgets and the cellphones.

To make matters worse, my DD and DW insisted we did take it off the bus and that we must've left it in the Pop lobby.

We did not realize the luggage was missing until about 2 hours after checkin.

I worked w Pop luggage, Pop lost and found, Mears and Parks lost and found.

This all happened on a Wednesday nite. I was hopeful it would turn up by Thursday AM. Well, Thursday came and went... nothing... then Friday... I had given up hope...

On Saturday I was in the Bakery on Main St having breakfast when a gentleman from Mears called to say they indeed found the bag and all the contents were there!

Wow what a relief!

Went to AKL 15-21 Aug. 15 minutes after we arrived DS told me he had lost his cell. What a way to start your vacation!! Filed out the lost and found slip and the Front Desk and kept checking back during the week. On Friday we were given the number to Magical Express Lost and Found and the had it!! Bus driver had turned it in. We got it back the day we left. When the bus pulled up and guess who was driving the bus, the SAME driver that found the phone!!! His name, Angel!! Sorry folks, can't make this up!! Needless to say, he got a REAL GOOD tip!!!
