Hi-
I just asked about calling Disney back and asking for a discount or AAA discount b/c I completely forgot to ask when I made my reservation...no Disney discount, but I got a AAA discount and just saved $250!! This board is the best...thanks!

So Disney gave you the AAA discount? When I called the 407-WDisney number the Disney person told me that in order to get the AAA discount I'd have to book the trip through a AAA agent. So is that not true? It seems you either talk to a really helpful disney agent or you get someone not the great.

Disney can give a AAA discount for a room only ressie.

If you have a package you need to book the package through a AAA agent in order to get the discount.

Of course you need to show your AAA card upon checkin.

Have fun at Disney everyone!:wizard:

Way to go!!!! :thumbsup2

If no AP rates are available, we always ask for and usually receive the AAA discount. It has saved us thousands of dollars over the years. :)

Yes, it didn't even occur to me that it wouldn't be thru them since when you book thru regular hotels you can get an AAA rate (I've never booked anything thru AAA itself). My reservation is rooms only so maybe that's why? GL! I've been so surprised at the different answers I've been given on a number of different things from different people I've spoken w/at Disney.

I'm hoping one of you AAA vets can help me... We have a AAA membership, but we've never booked a trip through them before, so I'm not familiar with what kind of discounts they offer.
We are looking at Oct. 17-24. We'd like to stay at the CR and we'd need non-park hopper tickets for 2 adults and 1 child (5 yrs old). No trip insurance, no non-expire option needed.
How much of this does AAA offer discounts on - just the room or the tickets too?
Would it be better to get a room only reservation through AAA. Then purchase tickets from AAA as a separate transaction? From what I've read, you get a better discount with AAA if you do a room only ressie.
Thanks for the help!
