Just wanted to say thank you to host Phinny for the trade tonight.

I wanted to make sure to say thanks when so many times I just complain that I didn't get in the room etc. So for a change I wanted to say that everything went well tonight and I finally got my WDW Grand Floridian.

Would also like to thank Phinny for opening her host events on time. You can tell she really makes a big effort to do so and that we all notice. That really makes a big difference for me. Usually with these important host events its on nights that I don't have a lot of time.

So Woot to Phinny and all the other Dis peeps that got in to trade tonight.

Yup, thanks Phinny! My first memory of Phinny was actually in a trade event either in May 2006 or June 2006. I was convinced from that day that she was awesome! She zips through those trades quicker than my beloved Donald Duck loses his temper, haha. That speed was especially critical in the DC days. Plus, I am a very "I want to get this, that, and the other done not now, but five minute ago!" Type-A personality, so I appreciate the speediness even more.

No details are needed but this was my most tense pin trading event due to real life and pin trading intersecting with NO time to spare.

I am happy this thread is here because it's the perfect spot for me to say a very needed message to Fin:

Fin, thanks so so so much! I was truly at the point where every minute was going to count if I didn't leave and it would have been so sad to be that close to have to drop out. Thank you! (And if you are wondering, we made it right on time, safely.)

If anyone ever asks, you got through 106 ppl in 90 minutes! All that can be said is, "Rock on!"

I couldn't believe how fast the trades were going and how smooth the transactions seemed to be. Probably the best trade event ever, IMO.
