Thank You Gift Ideas?

I'm looking for ideas for a way to say thank you to someone-today my Uncle's girlfriend did the brakes, rotors and an oil change on my car for free (I just paid for the parts), and I know that if I had gone to a mechanic the labor would have cost me a few hundred dollars. She didn't want money and I already told her I was going to help her get their house/pool/yard ready for my cousin's birthday party later this month and that I would help clean up the next day, BUT I feel like that isn't enough of a thank you from me and I would like to do something nice for her. Any ideas on what I can do? I really appreciate all the help she gave me today and I feel kind of guilty not doing anything to say thank you!

Is there a resteraunt she enjoys? A spa? You could always send an edible arrangement or something similar.

Or another hobby/craft/something she is into that you can get her a gift basket of supplies for?

You might just send flowers or bring over a box of cupcakes or whatever.

You're going to help her do the party stuff, and I'm sure she did it as a favour so a nice gift but not too extravagent would be my suggestion. Otherwise, I'd fear she'd feel that you'd expect like, a gift basket or spa day for helping her with the party, you know?

You've set up a relationship that's good and you're going to help each other out. Thus, I think the appreciation gift should be more along the box of cupcakes level than spa day, otherwise it sortof removes it from a back-and-forth, more familial thing, if you see what I mean.

If you are going to help her our later, I would keep it very simple. A plate of homemade cookies might be perfect.
