Thank You Gift for Inlaws

The scrapbook/memory book idea is a fantastic idea. I do these for my family (my own kids/husband, Mom, sisters, nieces, etc.) for vacations, special events. Everyone absolutely loves them and they are so special to look back on.

I don't know if your inlaws like special "attention", but if you have a character dinner planned for everyone in your party, you can have the characters deliver a special "Thank you" card signed not just by all of your family, but the characters too. You usually just see birthdays celebrated but if you plan ahead of time with the restaurant, you can do just about anything within reason. You can make a special thank you card yourself and bring it to your dinner.

Last January, I took my mom for her very first trip to WDW to celebrate her 80th birthday and we stayed at the Poly. When checking in, I mentioned to the front desk person the reason for this trip. The next day, there was an autographed picture of Minnie/Mickey, personalized for my mom, attached to 3 or 4 balloons. She went absolutely crazy about it (and the picture is now in her memory book!!) Guest Services would be more than glad to do something like this for you.
