Thank You Former AP Holders Disboards Members

In light of yesterdays announcement and I just wanted to give a shout out and a huge thanks to all the former Disneyland AP holders who have contributed to much to my enjoyment of Disboards over the last few years. Your updates and contributions have allowed soo many of us to live through you and be able to experience Disneyland on a daily basis, even though some of us are half way around the world.

Yesterday in the other thread, tensions started to get high, as the never ending debate about crowd levels and AP holders, block out days, and day ticket people re surfaced. I admit, I too have grumbled about the crowd levels in the parks and breathed a sigh of relief when planning a park trip when I find out that my days coincide with AP block out days. However all the updates through out the year, from merchandise updates, to the excitement of the opening week of Galaxys Edge and so much, made me really appreciate just how much knowledge of the parks the AP holders have. This local real time knowledge has certainly made my once a year visits far more enjoyable, and allowed to me see the parks in new way.

Our beloved park is still closed, and we have no idea when any of us will visit again. When the parks re open it will be a new experience for all of us. And it will be the former AP holders, who will help us all adjust to the new Disneyland experience.

So just thank you, Go Raibh Maith Agat and even though the AP program as we knew it has ended, once those gates re open, I can't wait for all the updates from all the regulars local guests

The true loss of the up to date information will be felt eventually and deeply, that's for sure. I'm not a local AP and I made great use of all information local APs shared. My trips were always 1000% better because of those near daily updates.
