Thanks to everyone here at the disABILITIES! board for your tips and answers to my specific questions we had a wonderful vacation.
I was able to enter and exit the rides with little difficulty and our room was perfect - handicap accessible with a tub at POFQ. There was plenty of room to charge my scooter in front of the ac without the 4 of us feeling crowded.
Apple Scooters was very helpful with providing a scooter that was comfortable for me to use - the first one had too short of a base and I couldn't fit my feet on it without bending my knees beyond comfort so they changed it out the next morning.
Best of all - I was pain free for the full 10 days thanks to the ECV rental!
My dr had prescribed a prednisone pack just in case I needed it - luckily I did not.
Dh was sceptical about going and a few days into the trip he was already talking about the next time we go.
