Thanks for the advice ...BUT!!! My sister- in- law and I agreed we were not going to split the kids up, they are all extrememly close. We know thye will never get this opportunity again at the age the are right now. This is why we scheduled 9 days, so we would be able to take our time. We have scheduled a FREE day at the end of our trip, this gives everyone a chance to do what they want if they wanted. Also my mom-in-law and dad-in- law feel uncomfortable having to choose which direction they are goin to go in with which of the 7 grand kids. She has requested we stay togehter as much as we can. I am a big, Camcorder person, I don't want to miss anything my niece and nephews experience. So I think we will take our time try really hard to have a durable agenda ,and try to flow with it.If anyone has felt this way I would love to hear from you. :thanks: party: :mickeyjum

Sounds like a great family, but at WDW it's going to make for very long days! :teeth: We tried this one day during a family reunion, and we just couldn't get it to work. There were 13 of us.

All those bathroom breaks, no quick ducking into stores, and will you all be able to agree where to eat each day? You definitely won't be able to do any spur of the moment changes with such a large group! I think it's even going to be hard just staying together as you walk from attraction to attraction! You'll need to have a plan about who will ride with each other in the ride vehicles as well,

Hope you have a great time, and bring a big bottle of patience with you!

We were able to do this on day trips to area amusement parks, but I don't think I would attempt it in WDW. We had 8 people for part of our trip and just one was little, and we split up. We ate together, but some of our group cut loose for periods of time. Holding up an entire group for a bathroom break may become a problem. From grandparents POV, we did not want to miss DGD on any attraction, or any experience, but we still were able to wander off for a time, and still enjoy the trip thru her eyes. If it works for you, awesome, but I would have a back up plan just in case. Best of luck on your family trip! :wizard:

We had 12 of us and did spend quite a bit of time together. We would also break up a bit, agreeing to meet back in 2 hrs, etc. We were always in the same park, but that allowed a bit of freedom to accomodate the varying age groups. As for eating, try not to eat during "peak" times and you should be OK. May not all be able to be seated together, but that's OK too.
