I just wanted to thank the posters here on the disABILITIES board for taking time to answer my questions. We leave for WDW on Friday 4/5. I think I've got my DH taken care of (tore ligaments in his leg two days ago) thanks to you all. We're renting an ECV from Walker and I got a temporary handicap placard from our NC DMV.

This will be an interesting experience for us and I'll let you know how it went.

Hope your trip goes really well.
Another hint, if your DH is getting worn out, it might be easier for him to lie down for a little while in First Aid than to go all the way back to the room. There is a First Aid staion in each park and the CMs there are very nice. We have used them when DD just needed to lie down for a little while. They have cots in individual cubicles and it is dimly lit, cool and quiet.
