Well we are back from our first trip, and would like to thank all of you who share your experiences, so us first timers can avoid some pitfalls.
Examples:
avoid the guy in the white van trying to scoop Mears customers to Universal
get on the resorts monorail at MK then transfer to Epcot at TTC when doing Wishes and Illuminations in the same night, rather than waiting for the Express
Highlights for me
first time DD saw Mickey
Chef Mickeys
1900 Park Faire DW's tears as DD got to meet her favorite Cinderella
towel and face cloth animals from Mousekeeping
only one day of rain and we were wet anyway at Universal
2nd day we are at AK and DD leaves her Pal Mickey in the restroom, we rush back 10 minutes later but it is gone. Millie one of the attendants sees our DD in tears, and takes her to the store and asks if I have the bill which I did, they leave us waiting for about 15 minutes, then Mesha ( I think ) the Store Manager says they don't normally do this but she gave our DD another Brand new Pal Mickey. Just amazing people.
