On behalf of my family, I owe all of you a great big thank you for all of your help. We were first timers who had to plan everything on our own because it was a convention / vacation trip, and I couldn't have done it without the help of podcasts and great members of the Disney community who are so generous with tips and advice. You all have taught me a lot over the last few months.

Amazing is an overused word, but this trip truly was. Sure, we had a lot of rain Thursday and Saturday, and the temps were less than ideal, but my girls were able to ride every major attraction at least once at MK and DHS (yes TSMM & RR), and hit the major M&Gs over 3.5 days.

Then there's my wife and I, both of which were able to get through the trip without any stress because we knew we had a plan, had flexibility, and just let it all take care of itself.

i have been telling everyone I know, if you want to do Disney, and do it right, lean on the community, hit up these boards and don't hesitate to ask questions. If you are a first timer reading this, I mean every word. This is a great resource, take advantage. Your family will appreciate it.

So glad you had a great trip! We hadn't been in almost 10 years and last year at this time we booked a trip 185 days prior. I did soo much reading and absorbing, it truly is amazing the little things you can learn that make your trip that much better!

You know those FB memories that pop up? I had one from this time last year when a friend linked the Tinkerbell magicband and I actually told her I couldn't have it because I was staying off site. Lets just say a month later I had it, loved it and even got Tink to sign it while we were there!! I know, a little thing but something I would not have known without reading posts here.
