I'm glad I found this forum. I'm not a college student or anyone who is looking to work at WDW. I'm a Disney fan. My family and I are getting ready for our 14th year in a row going to WDW. That includes 3 cruises. People ask us why we keep going back to WDW. Well there are two main reasons.
We have a 21 year old daughter who is in a wheelchair. We have not found any other place that even comes close to be as wheelchair accessible as WDW. The second reason is you guys. I have never had a bad experience with a CM in all the times I have been to WDW or on a Disney cruise. I have had CM's go out of their way for us. It is amazing to me that with all you have to put up with from people that think just because they are spending alot of money, they can treat CM's the way I've seen people do, that you always seem to have a smile on your faces. Every year when we get back from WDW I write a letter. Most of the letter is to thank all of you for giving my family and I a magical vacation. Once in a great while it has something negative in it. I also ask that the letter be posted somewhere where CM"s can read it so that they know there is someone who appreciates what they do. Most times people only write letters to complain.
So THANK YOU ALL for what you all do!! See you in July. We will be the ones walking through the parks with one or two people in wheelchairs and with 2 service dogs.
