I just had the most amazing experience with a Castmember named "Lael" when calling to see if I could get a better price on my reservation my December Pop Century Resort with a PIN email special that I got.
"Stay at a select Disney Value Resort
for the special low rate of
$ 67*
per night, plus tax
in a standard room!
For stays most SundayThursday nights,
10/1011/18/11 and 11/2612/22/11."
My original reservation I had a similar lower price except for the last two nights which was almost rack rate at $110.00 per night. When I got this PIN email I thought that I would call the phone number on the email to see if they could give me their price of $67.00 instead of $110.00 per night for just those two nights. That saved me another $86.00 plus $10.00 tax for a total of about $96.00 for just two nights.
Lael was very polite and very knowlegdable like we are. She was able to make a reservation for these two nights and then made sure that she corrected my previous original reservation with my same requests.
Lael knew exactly what I wanted to do and knew to make the new reservation and not to lose the original reservation. She did not have to call someone else or put me on hold and she explained everything that she was doing as she was doing it. I was absolutely amazed. I left her an excellent survey on the phone and went on line at www.DisneySurvey.com/drc to make sure Diseny got her name for another most excellent survey.
From now on I am going to ask if Lael is available to help me. But I know in reality that Disney is probably too big to ever find her again. Lael should be a trainer of all Cast Members ansering calls for reservations, in my opinion. Some people just love Disney, like we do, and Lael is actually able to help people like us with her knowledge and expertise. Thank You, Lael. Ray
