My momma and I got back late last night from a week at DLR. Thank you so much for all of your tips and help!
Because of you guys, we knew how to beat the crowds and the best ways to view WoC and Magical (and that Tink and Dumbo don't fly all the time).

I highly suggest reading HydroGuy's thread/threads because that's where we got a ton of our help from.
For beating the crowds, we showed up early, if not at opening, and collected Fastpasses and hopped between DL and DCA multiple times on most of our days. However, it helped that we didn't really run into huge crowds or heat until Monday. On Monday, the lines jumped from an average of 15 minutes to an average of 45 minutes. We also stayed really late so we got 15 minute waits for Dumbo and Peter Pan's Flight, and a 20 minute wait and a 5 minute wait for TSMM.
For WoC, we used the picnic Fastpasses the first time we saw it. We were in the blue section and, therefore, were able to watch from the bridge. It was the best view ever! No one was on front of us, or behind us, so we had space. We could see everything really well. The second time, we sat at the Cove Bar. The $10 charge to watch WoC from there was more than worth it! We couldn't see the water screens as well, but we could see the fountains much better.
For Magical, we went over to Main Street and staked our claim at about 8:15 or so each night. We got the most wonderful spots. We stood far back enough to see everything, but since we got there nice and early, we weren't really far back.
