I posted before that my DH and I had a TERRIBLE experience at Le Cellier several years ago. The food was great but it literally took us over 2 hours to eat in an almost empty restaurant because our waiter was so terrible.
I was able to get a lunch ADR for our trip but had to talk my husband into it. He said that he would give the place ONE more chance but that if we had similar service I had to promise that we would NEVER eat there again.
So, it started out great. Gave our names at the podium and once we got down to the restuarant they were waiting with menus to seat us. My husband actually started his stopwatch to time the entire experience. No sooner had the hostess seated us that our server came to take our drink orders and brought them back immediately. From that point on my DH smiled throughout lunch. We had GREAT service and our waitress was so nice and friendly talking to us about Canada - my 8 year old had questions about Canada and she was more than happy to take time to talk with him.
Our food was EXCELLENT and I'm happy to say that my DH has given us the thumbs up to return again!!
Our waitress was so sweet - my son doesn't like ice cream and the only dessert options for kids is a fruit cup or ice cream. Well he didn't want either so our waitress said she would get him whatever dessert he wanted free of charge because she didn't think a fruit cup was a real dessert option for someone who doesn't like ice cream.
My DH was very impressed. We had a family seated next to us with a lot of allergies and the chef came out to talk to them about their options and made sure the waiter captured everything correctly. He asked the two little girls what kinds of things they like and he whipped up something special for them. My DH said that he has never seen such great customer service at a WDW restuarant before (especially since it was so hot and crowded with free dining). So he agreed that our previous experience was just bad luck.
