Because if I did, I think I'd use it on myself about now. I have walking pneumonia. I am taking a very powerful antibiotic. I think I'd rather keep the pneumonia. The medicine makes me feel so bad! Thank goodness I only have one day left of these pills. I'm taking 800 mg a day. If I need additional medication, it won't be this stuff! Sorry, I just needed to whine!

You must be absolutely miserable!!! I can relate in that antibiotics just wipe me out! Get lots of rest so you can move on out of this as quickly as possible!!

I have no idea. It just came out of no where. I am worried now because my DD has been coughing and told me she had a really sore throat. Just great! I guess I'll be taking her to the doctor tomorrow. I let mine go to long. I don't want her to get to my sorry state.

Well, I hope you are feeling well soon and good luck with the antibiotic. You may want to think about getting some Culturelle (lactobacillus GG) supplements along with some of the new Dannon Activa yogurt. The two of them together should keep the antibiotic from wiping your intestines out.

I know how you feel! I was diagnosed with double lung pneumonia the first week of January. I still have a cough. It took three rounds of different antibiotics plus inhalers to get rid of it, and by the end my digestive system was a wreck! The activa yogurt (or any yogurt with the active cultures) helped a lot. I would recommend it once you are done with the antibiotics. My doctor told me not to eat the yogurt or take calcium while on the meds as it interferes with absorption.
