Hello everyone..here I am after having read so much about the VEA and private transfers, that I have decided to use the TGV this Dec.26th. I read that there was a SilverShuttle srvice and it had great prices, but it seems to have gone out of business. I was just wondering if my schedule looks okay..to those that have been there, knowing CDG airport and having used VEA busses, specially during the Christmas season.

We will arrive on Tuesday the 26th of Dec. at 14:30 with Air France from Venice. I thought of taking the 16:03 TGV ( there's one 15 min before..but don't want to risk it).

On the way back , we leave ont Sunday the 31st of Dec. at 12:35, so I thought a 10:40am TGV would be fine in order to get in time to the airport...or should I take the 9:52. am ? ( If we can stay an extra hour at the hotel...I'm sure it would make our leaving Disneyland a bit less dramatic :-)

Also, when I was pretending to book, it gave me my choice of seating. I have no idea what is best. It will be my DH and 2 DD ( 4 and 6)...this TGV will be an experience...so any seating suggestions anyone could give me, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks again, :)

IF you're taking the TGV from CDG, it's a 10 minute trip so I wouldn't get too worked up about seating. by the time you board, stow your luggage, and find a seat it's almost time to get up again. Especially if your seats are up on the upper deck.

If you DO miss your train, there doesn't seem to be much issue with taking the next one in my experiernce for the short trip (but don't count on me if you do have the rare occassion of having your ticket checked!)

Thanks for the reply. ;) I believe that we will be using the RS Transport sytem to DLP and back to the airport. The price is the same as TGV, and with the two girls, the luggage and my DH who is not too excited about goiong to DLP during the winter...the less hassle the better. I'll save TGV for a future shorter trip !!
