Hi guys! What's up? Just fixing dinner here....

I hope everyone is busy planning their trip. I am making my final ADR's this weekend. I have one or two that I'm not keeping. Or maybe I am... I don't know. Can't even decide what park to go to when!

What are you planning on cancelling, adding, changing????

V: No, no code, I just saw online that they had a banner up that said, "summer rates" and I checked and it was for $69 a night instead of the $89 I booked back in May? SO, I called and they gave it to me!

Last night I made the shirts I wanted to for Jimmy and Andrew so I thought I'd share SPECIAL THANKS TO NATALIE ON THE DISigns Board. I used her photos with permission and adjusted them for us. HE work is FABULOUS

So get this: Andy's friend is going to FL to visit some family and they're set on spending a DAY in WDW. So he asks me which parks they should see. Mind you they're going for only 1 Day! Oh, and they plan to try to get into CP without an ADR in JULY!! Dude, good luck! I told them not to bother with MK as it's almost identical to DLR -but that they should see AK. We have NOTHING like it here, so I think they'll really enjoy that.

CP without an ADR?!?! Doesn't that just make your skin crawl when you hear stuff like that? I just want to shake 'em and scream at 'em!!!

JIm said to my girlfriend today (The one that is coming with us in August) that he knows DIsney is approaching becasue packages start arriving in the mail

SPeaking of packages I got the coolest things for Jimmy. the website is called tattoos dot org and I got him tattoos for the trip that say If lost please call...and they have both Jim and my cell phone numbers on them. We tried the silicone bracelet and he kept taking it off and handing it to us to hold...kind of defeats the purpose if he's not wearing it

Janet-Love the shirts. I have to get the shirts yet. I have the transfers but not the shirts. We have a few days that we will be wearing matching shirts. Yep the girls are excited.

I called and hoped to add on another day. Still nothing at POP for Aug. 30th. I did add dd's bff and got the correct number of days on the tickets. We need 8 days and I had 6. If we can't get the extra day at POP our last day will be off site or bunking with one of you.

I floated the idea of going down by myself for the craziness, but D wanted to go. (Secretly, he's a WDW fan...) So, we're all going! I DO hope to get in a trip by myself that seems to be in the works for 10/09 though
If you get her here before next weekend (the 19th), she can come to IL/WI/MO with us, too. I know that's not so exciting for you, but hey. Redneck wedding, baby!

i would luv to do girls weekend, but how do you tell the kids that you're going to wdw and they're not going??? i'm afraid my kids would freak!!!

All this talk about what to wear when got me thinking. We will have a few matching shirts that I will want us to wear on the same day and a couple are meant for certain parks. I guess I need a wardrobe spread sheet. This way everyone will know if it is a day for a certain shirt and then some days I can leave as free choice. Who has a spread sheet made up that they can share?

Tony says something very similar, but there's a few 4-letter words thrown there, along with eyebrow raising, neck craning and arm flailing... You know the drill...

Don't let T scare ya... You can take the jeans off your list though...TOO HOT...won't need 'em.

All I do is match up a few outfits and pack 'em. Half the time I mix 'em all up anyway. I do plan Michael's clothes though and pack his outfits in ziploc bags and then I write the date and place on each bag. Much easier to get him ready that way - then I spend more time on ME in the morning...Hmmm...what should I wear???

I always thought that I was the only one who made a chart of what to wear on what day....It does usually go straight out the window (like LL said) but it's good to know what I have/brought.

Janet: I'm thinking of changing my ADR at Prime Time on Sunday. Don't know if I want to go to HS this trip, and might do some time in DTD this night instead....?

I don't have any problem at all telling my kids that we're going to Fockerfest alone. Of course, they already had their WDW trip, so they didn't care. I guess if it was the only trip and you weren't bringing kids that could be sticky!

No ME stuff yet here, either.

I got the T-Shirts at Michael's for $4.00 each. The tanks I got at Target for $3.00 ANd that's your tip for the day

Me too! And all I kept saying to JIm is can't that absorb into the bloodstream, etc...Uh yeah I tend to over think and analyze things

Thanks Kat! Like I said the orignal designes came from natalie on the designs boards. She has a website you can go to and download blanks of the pics and then you can add your own words, etc.

THis is what I do too, and I always have one or 2 extra's "just in case" ::yes", but for Jimmy I do the same as LL, ziplock back with the date so there are no arguments in the AM!

Hope you manage to get it, I have heard quite a few people cancelling ADR's because they're canceling the whole trip so it may open up!

I just heard that a friend of a friend down here is hitting WDW next week with NOTHING planned. Except this: decide on a park and get to it by 11am. I begged her to tell them to get there at opening.

Neat! Leo loooves his ID bracelet, but he insits on jacking it up his arm so it's real tight and leaves a mark. We use ID Inside for swimming, and ID On Me the rest of the time. I really ought to get one for myself since I'm allergic to penicillin and iodine, not to mention the asthma.
