I would say Rose & Crown. Only because of the outside option and the possibility of people watching whilst dining, KWIM? :thumbsup2

I was thinking just that but I dunno if I can hold out till 9pm for dinner...or 8:30 or so when I'd make the ressie (illuminations is at 9). I hate making these decisions lol.

My 2 cents - go for Coral Reef (don't tell Jo:ssst: but I don't really care for the food there:sick: , though go for the Cadbury's in the tea shop:thumbsup2 ) As a solo eater you will enjoy having the tank to look and the food is better.

Jo - for renting a car definately look at Mousesavers. To give you an idea price wise, with coupons, etc I got a 9 day rental, midsize car, for $204 including taxes and fees. Also check the transportation board here, I have gotten good leads for discounts there too.

I bought something this weekend for the trip, now sit down because you will be so excited.... I got Kelly and me a pack of ponytail holders. Oh yeah, feel the excitement.

I can't wait to hear about her reaction...maybe you should just invite all us Fockers up for her birthday party so we can see her reaction in person:rolleyes1 :rotfl:

June 9th is my SIL's birthday:thumbsup2

I still can't decide. How sad is that?

LOL You are just excitement like crazy!

Ok so in trying to figure out which restaurant to eat at I went to all ears and checked the menus... what would I get to eat...

Coral Reef:
Lobster Soup

Pumpkin Risotto - infused with Manchego Cheese and green beans topped with fried parsnips and cranberry sauce
or
Seared Sterling Salmon with ratatouille

The Chocolate Wave* - with brandied cherries

Rose & Crown:
Rose and Crown Cheese Plate - Irish Cheddar, Mushroom Brie, and Stilton Pastry with individual accompaniments
or
Roasted Mushrooms - cooked with Cream and Garlic, served on a puff pastry

Bangers and Mash - traditional English sausages, with braised cabbage and bacon, mashed potatoes and shallot gravy
or
Herb-roasted Lamb - with Irish cheddar potato gratin and Guinness Barbecue Sauce

Baileys Irish Coffee Trifle
or
Sticky Toffee Pudding

I thought this would help...but now I think I'm just hungry!!! What would you choose from the 2??

That's fine Mo as you know I'm not English so it doesn't offend me ;) :rotfl: And the Cadburys in that shop is so expensive, I was debating on bringing you all a bar over but think 50 bars may use up all my luggage allowance :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: I think I actually prefer the UK menu, even though we're going to CR and not to R&C :rotfl2:

Well Jo, if you want to bring Cadbury's over you can cross the Canadians off your list, we already have it over here! ;)

Ah but is it proper Cadburys? :rotfl2: Isn't there some US law about milk quality in chocolate or something and that's why it doesn't taste the same  I know that US Cadburys does not taste the same as ours, I don't think it helps that it's hot over there too!!!

:rotfl: I have no idea, we have all sorts of Cadbury products here though. I think in the States it is very limited.
