I was thinking, Kat and Tanya have you heard about the Mod job?

Because of everything going on with the owners (losing Bob Varley) Marissa told me it would be a few weeks before I heard anything and that was about a week ago...so nothing yet!

Okay, I got a reasonable amount of research done over dinner, so now I can goof off on the DIS until I really have to buckle down tomorrow!

Status Check - Operation Swimsuit

Bad news. Lands End let me down. Big time.

I tried this suit, which promises "tummy control." What it really did was flatten my entire torso. And there are parts which absolutely should NOT be flattened, IYKWIM.

I also tried this one with plain, brief bottoms. The bottoms were great - no tugging! But the top? It has kind of an A-line shape, which just accentuates the fact that I have no waist. AND, there are too many darts at the bottom of the cups, so no matter how tight I tie it, I look droopy. Bleh.


So the search was back on...

Until I tried on a suit from last year before donating it to Goodwill. I never wore it last year, becuase it was too long. It's a one-piece and I have a short torso. 'Nuff said. BUT - I've since gained enough weight to stretch it out more and it fits! Sure, I'm a lot rounder than a year ago, but this suit looks GREAT now!

I still need a second suit, though. I bought one at Target today, but I'm not completely sold on it. I ahve to visit the dreaded amll anyway this weekend - I'll take a look at Macy's and Nordstrom while I'm there.

I found the perfect suit. I've decided to just give in and wear this:

So I started my Gardengrocer list this afternoon. Got everyones requests and after a few minutes of arguing about Spring Water v. Purified Water, I finally ordered a case of Aquafina. Yup, I prefer purified water over spring water.

I ordered bagels, english muffins, cereal, frozen waffles, yogurt, bananas, milk, eggs, sausage & coffee. I'm good to go! Anything I might be forgetting???

I had to add a day on to our vacation, believe me, it wasn't very good "fuzzy disney math". We are flying in at a better time, and I got a room at Pop for one nite. So since we will be checking in around 4:00 p.m. I thought we should go eat somewhere fun. I looked at Trails End at Fort Wilderness, but they don't serve on Friday nites. I don't want to do Mickey's BackYard Barbeque or Hoopdedo-we eat that kind of food all the time. Anyone have any suggestions?

I too am having bathing suit drama!

I have one from last year that is OK. I got it because its a racer back and holds up the girls. I ordered a new one this year HERE and when i got it the girls needed a whole lot more support than that and tying it tighter was making a noose around my neck! So I am going to return it tomorrow and see if there are any in the store to see how I like the other styles. URGH. It's not like I wanna be sen in one as it is...

I booked my ME, after 2 calls to America they finally gave me a website address, one worrying thing though was that the CM couldn't bring up my reservation as it didn't have enough numbers I did book with WDWUK so maybe that's why? But I wanted to add some room requests on, hopefully I can do that when I pay the balance?

What are your days now? What day are you going to be at Pop?

I got somewhat of an update!

I went and got Kelly some outfits that I will give her on her b-day so she thinks its the normal b-day stuff, I will put them all in a gift bag and at the bottom I will have the vacation planning DVD etc wrapped up seperately, I thought in that seperate wrapping I would get a Disney b-day card and write an invite in that (sorta stole Janet's idea of having her parents send a postcard from Mickey)

Anyhow here are the outfits:

that last one is a skort with a nice cotton lining underneath, I had another skort outfit but the lining was not cotton and in August, I though cotton would be best

I also got this baby gift for the boys vet who is due the end of June

She knows she is having a girl and the bib had a kittie on it, too cute!

I also wanted to share my swim suits

the first is the best for water parks, nice sturdy shelf bra and the nottoms are like a pair of running shorts

and then (yes skirted bottoms V, I'm over 40 )

and one last one, nothing to do with trip planning, I have Cooper this week as Murph is off to Cancun with friends, they kept getting in the way when I was taking pics, they never get to go in the guestroom so they were excited as it is fresh territory

Thanks Lessa, but I didn't spend that much, there is a small chain of stores in North Jersey called Childrens' Wear outlet (one is half way between work and home) I got all those outfits and the gift for the vet for $55 and they had a special spend $50 and get a $10 gift crad for a future purchase (the card is good for 2 years) So now I got $10 towards Christmas shopping.
