We are flying Southwest out of TF Green for the first time on Saturday. I've only flown from Logan before this. My question is... once we've gone thru airport security and are heading down to the terminal to wait for our flight, is there a snack stand or something down there so we can get something to drink while waiting for the flight and to bring on for during the flight?

Yes, there is. I believe it's a mini TGIFridays, as well as one of your typical bagel shops.

Oh really???? That's Great!! Past the security check point at Logan it's just a snack cart. :cool1:

There's a "Mexican" place, Dunkin' Donuts, TGIFridays, and a Wolfgang Puck Express cart with sandwiches. I like the chicken pecan salad from Friday's and the breakfast burrito from the Mexican place. The line at Dunks is longer than the preboard line to MCO:lmao: Really it's terrible.

Yes, there are several dining/snack options beyond the checkpoint. (I know this for sure because I work for Green Airport!). There's a TGI Fridays, Tito's Cantina, Wolfgang Puck kiosk and Dunkin' Donuts. This winter, Green Aiport will be introducing many more dining options (Johnny Rockets and Chili's to name a few) as part of a terminal improvement project. Welcome to Green Airport; we hope you enjoy your experience.

WOW that's great!! :thumbsup2 Even though Logan has lots of shops & restaurants, once you go thru the security check point to your terminal, there's only a snack cart with limited options. Glad to hear it!! Although we're not flying out till 5 pm and Im so fidgety IM making my husband leave at noontime (we're an hour away) so we can eat at the Bertucci's on Post Rd before dropping our car off at the Pre-Flight lot. :lmao:

Thanks for the info!!

Just got back from TF Green Tuesday night - love the new walkway from the gates down to baggage claim! :goodvibes

so true, it's the most horrendous dunks line EVER! they need to throw a Starbucks in there too :thumbsup2

we have the 5pm flight next week and i think we're prepacking sandwiches to avoid the 'omg my flight is boarding while i'm waiting in line for food' scenario (been there done that). i bring my empty Brita bottle thru security and fill at the bubbler before boarding (do people still say bubbler? i never really hear it much anymore). ok, rambling!
