Hi. We're new to the forum so apologies if this question has been asked before.

Has anyone tried Texas de Brazil? I beleive it can be quite expensive? Any help/comments would be great.

Thanks

I'd like to hear from someone who's eaten here, too. We've been meaning to try it ever since it opened, but haven't got around to it yet. So much food, so little time... :teeth: It's pencilled in to the itinerary again for October, so you never know - we may eventually get to try it.

It is expensive, but it's upmarket. Have you had a look at the website?

Haven't eaten there but I asked the same question on the US boards & it recieved rave reviews! I think it cast's approx $45-$50 per person (children 50%) & desserts are extra BUT if you register on their web site they send you out special offer e-mails,we have just got a 25% off Mon-Thurs thru'out Sept. We intend to try it out on our trip & will post a review on our return
HTH SD :woohoo:

Fantastic, go hungry. The food is very very good and the service is supurb. We did it last year and were very very happy, we wished we had not eaten lunch. The meats were very good, they were keen to tel you if it was not exaclty as you like, for example, the meat they took around was too rare or too salty they would do some seperatelty to match your tastes.

The salad bar is also fantastic, not only salalds, but also things such as asparagus and meats are on it, well above usaul buffet fare, and very very fresh.

Take your time as you certainly want dessert, they have a tray with the desserts on so you can see what they and will explain them all to you. The dessert you are served is fresh from the kitchen though.

There are also some excellent South American wine. Allow time for this meal, take your time and enjoy it.

For your birthday they will send a free meal voucher.

Thanks for the info above. Sounds like one to add to the itinery for our trip in two weeks time.

Terry if poss could give us an idea of cost? as it sounds wonderful.

The full price is about $49 per person (plus tip and tax), plus drinks and dessert. If you sign up at the web site you will get sent offers that bring the price right down. At the memonet as UKDEB has posted there is a labour day offer. If youhave a birthday while you are there they will send you a voucher for a feree meal for the birthday person.

We went with a birthday voucher, for the two of us with drinks and dessert it was $78 (inc tax but not tip). I did not drink any alcohol as I was drinking, OH dfid, but I can't remember what he drank. I had a dessert and I don't think he did.
