Texas de Brazil restaurant on I-Drive?

Hi folks has anyone eaten at this new addition on I-Drive? The pictures certainly look good but a first hand account is always better! Could be adding this one to our must eat places!!

There was an earlier thread about this restaurant. Bottom line - GREAT! It is pricey but well worth it.

Just a warning. There are one or two imitators close by. Avoid them. This is a unique restaurant and worth the wait to get in if there is one.

Texas de Brazil is a churrascaria. It is not really a unique idea, but they do it pretty well. Be prepared to eat a LOT of meat. Their "salad bar" has some excellent items on it.

This restaurant resembles O'hana's in the sense that they bring the meat to you on skewers. Texas de Brazil had a classy atmosphere. If you register at their website, they will e-mail you discount coupons. I currently have a coupon for 50% off Monday through Wednesday if you eat before 6 or after 8:30 (good for the month of July). PM me and I will forward you the e-mail.

You start out at with their salad bar/appetizer bar. When you are ready for the main course you simply flip over your meat card to green and the servers begin bringing you the meats. With the main course you also get potatoes and vegetables.

It really is worth a try. Easy to get to as well. Directly across the street from the Festival mall on I Drive. Take exit 75A off of I-4. Make a left at wet and wild and it will be about 1.5 miles down on the left.

we have this restaurant here in dallas/ ft worth TX. Its great! It costs about $40 per person for dinner. all u can eat salad bar and dinner. Drinks and desert not included. Kids under 5 years old eat free.
Plus if you sign up on their website and make your reservations on their website you can earn points and coupon discounts on future dinning there.

My husband and I went there for v-day.... we spent about $120 with dinner for us and our 3yr old with a few drinks and tip. we figured we would only go there once a year since its kinda pricey.
But then since we signed up online we've gotten email/coupons for buy one get one 50% off. and we've even gotten a coupon for 50% off entire bill for upto 8 people.

Texas de Brazil is one of the best restaurants in Orlando. The food is soooo good. The flank steak and the bacon wrapped chicken breast are my favorite. Definately bring your appetite. We always go all day without eating before we go because their is just so much food. Please do yourself a favor and make a reservation because even in slow times it can be packed.
