I got the Zirra sandals and just started walking in them last night to wear them in.

I've been working on my new sneaks for the past month and thought these would be easy to break in (we're only 2 weeks out!). Turns out I was wrong!

They're rubbing on the bottom of the ball of my right foot. It's the weirdest thing, but it almost felt like I was starting to get a blister underneath. I think the plastic the shoe is made with wasn't jiving with my tender skin there. Other than that, I found the straps fine and the shoes were very supportive and comfortable for my super high arches.

Any thoughts on this? Do I just need to tough it out and build a callus?

Get some BodyGlide and put it on your foot. See if it helps.

That said, not every shoe is for everyone. This shoe might not be good for your feet, and maybe should be returned.

Or try some moleskin? Good luck op! Good thing you tried to wear them in at home before the trip -- very smart!

Yes BodyGlide or antiperspirant deodorant stick(white, not gel). I haven't had a blister or hot spot in years with the stick. I use Degree.
