on the monorail from DH to Tommorowland. We can fold them.

Regarding the Teva sandals, a friend mentioned that he thought closed toe shoes were a requirement at DLR. Sounds kind of iffy.

We want to pack the right stuff.

Don't know about the monorail and strollers but you can wear whatever you want on your feet!:thumbsup2

Strollers are allowed, but only folded.

Shoes are required, but other than that, it's up to you and your feet.

Shoes are not required! i see people there all the time in slippers, or flip-flops, or thongs, or whatever you call them! As long as you are not barefoot then you should be ok!

Hm.
I can't imagine why they wouldn't allow Teva Sandals...
I'd recommend wearing Sneakers or something of the like though,
I know that flip flops are comfy for the first few hours, but the lack of support was killing my sister's feet when she wore them on her last DL trip.

If you go with the Teva's, lemme know how that goes!
I have a pair of my own that I might take for a spin at DL one day :)

I'm glad we can use the strollers.

As for comfort of the sandals? Earlier in my life (before kids), I wore them practically all the time, including nearly 2,000 jumps from airplanes. I find them very comfortable. The worst part is the eventual Teva stinkyness.

We plan to bring sneakers and crocs for all as well.

I have no idea what teva sandals are but I would never dream of wearing anything besides tennis shoes. I want something comfortable to walk miles and miles in and to stay on my feet on rides and getting in and out of rides.

For me DL is an athletic event. I want to be able to sprint over the fast pass machines and hop out out of rides when they are over. :rotfl2:

I wore crocs flip flops all last week in the parks and loved it! They even sell flip flops in the parks, so I couldn't imagine wearing them not being allowed.

The only sandal I would wear is a KEEN. They have excellent arch support and I can go forever in them ( and I have) I have some Croc flip flops and I can't even walk around the block in them much less DL for 12 hours. Not to mention how many times i have slipped on a small puddle of water and fallen. Once at the Desert Inn walking to my car, Once in Burger king on a melted piece of ice. Those things have zero traction. Go with a real shoe

My tevas are way more comfortable than sneakers. Especially if they get wet. :thumbsup2 I also have a pair of speedo flip flops that are also way more comfortable than sneakers. I never wear to sneakers to theme/amusement parks anymore.

You'll be fine in Tevas (I love Tevas!!!). Your feet will thank you on rides like Grizzly River Run and Splash Mountain! I know that you have to take flip-flops off to ride the Orange Zinger.

last year i wore my crocs with socks, or slippers with socks (you guys call them flip flops) to wear when it was cold in the a.m. and took the socks off when it got hot.

i was sitting at a bench with my crocs and slippers near the pooh area waiting for my family to get off a ride when the lady sitting next to me was telling her friend she thought it was so hilarious that people wear socks with crocs. i didn't get it.

DH and I are not big running shoe fans. We're both looking at getting croc flip flops for our upcoming trip. I wore regular Old Navy flip flops on my last trip to DL in 2003 and was fine. Mind you, I was 50 lbs lighter then. :rotfl2: I still wear ON flip flops most of the time, and dh wears leather flip flops. We figure croc flip flops are more practical. My sister wore them for 8 hrs around the Dallas zoo and loved them. :thumbsup2

DITTO - i live in my Tevas. Wear them all the time at home, at Disneyland and WDW. Our last few trips to both parks I wore NOTHING but Tevas - didn't even bring tennis shoes. As long as you have worn the Tevas before and they are broken in you will be fine.....
