Land's End has sandals for kids starting at only $15! :cool1: I got the catalog the other day. They have other styles too (slides, flip-flops, etc) but I like the sports sandals - they stay on the kids' feet, can get wet without a problem, are very comfortable, come in colors my 4yo DD "approve" of (lol!) and now... they're inexpensive! They have little kid sizes from 5-13 and big kid sizes from 1-7.

The problem with ordering sandles off the internet is you can't feel them. Sandles often have seams, bumps, etc that irritate my feet. I have had good luck with TEVA sandles in the past, but the eliminated their 1/2 sizes and now they don't fit right . I am on the hunt for new sandles for DIsney.

I was able to purchase the Land's end sandals for my DDs at Sears. They did not have the color that one of them wanted, but at least I could try them on, so I new exactly what size to order. Land's End shoes tend to run a bit big, from our experience.

You can also take them back to Sears, rather than paying return postage, if you do order them.

These sandals really are great. My youngest DD has had them on all week, and absolutely loves them. I bought 2 pairs for each girl. Can't beat the price.

We also tried them on at Sears & then ordered the color/size we wanted. My kids love them! And DS7 is very picky about the comfort of his shoes.

I love to get shoes off of the internet! I have "difficult" feet, so the local stores never have anything that fits. If you go to Zappos.com or shoebuy.com or shoes.com they have free shipping BOTH ways so if you don't like a pair you just send them back! I just ordered about $400 worth of sandals (Tevas, Chacos, North Face and Bite Footwear) and sent all but one pair back! The Bite Footwear's Enerstrap FIT! :cool1: They are b*tt ugly, but they are comfy! Don't forget that these sits also pricematch!

Thank-you for the link! That was exactly what I was looking for, for my DD :cool1: .

I didn't think to mention Zappos. I've ordered from them before and been very satisfied with their service. They have a HUGE selection!

My DS3 has had 4 pairs of the older version of these sandals (I think the only thing that's changed is the color choices). They are great shoes! He's going to be bummed when he outgrows his current ones and can't get the same cobalt blue he's gotten every time so far - LOL

I went to look at them at sears today and my daughter just cant do the sandals. My son already has a similar par of sandals so I got the tennis shoe looking ones - kinda like pool shoes. Has anyone had these? I was thinking the whole point was to keep the feet cool and dry but by my daughter walked from the store out the mall and her feet were already sweaty. So I was wondering if this was going to defeat the purpose. I am bringing a stroller for her but I still suspect she will walk most of the time, atleast in the mornings.

I love those Lands End sandals! Can't wait to buy a pair for DD, just waiting a little bit because I think she'll go up another shoe size before our trip in June. :)

Thanks!!! That was exactly what I was looking for my daughter!

Her favorite color is pink - so I ordered her the pink ones!! Her birthday is coming up in May, and we're going to Disney in June!

THANKS AGAIN!!!

hmmm wish I had seen this sooner -
I am afraid they won't comein time and I hate paying any shipping nevermind express shipping - I might have to make a trip to the mall to see if our Sears has them Jenny -
thanks for the 411
I was looking for something for Matt and Gab

Be sure to go to the Overstocks section at the Lands End website. Click on boys or girls at the top and hit footwear. I was there today and saw the sandals you are speaking of for less money! I just bought my DS a winter parka for next year for only $29.99!

Oh pattyt, I should have emailed you! Sorry! The did have some at the Sears at the Burlington Mall, but the only color in Jackie's size was black... and you know as well as I that black just won't cut it with my girley-girl, lol. I didn't try Searstown.

It took about a week and a half for the sandals to come in, and they're a big hit with both of them. I measured their feet like it says to on the website, and it was a perfect fit for my son, whose feet are very wide. DD's were about a 1/2 size too big, but not so big that she can't or won't wear them, lol. Now it's hard trying to tell them that they can't wear them outside without socks just yet... :)

I guess no one cares about getting a deal. The same exact sandals you are talking about are available for less than $7 on the Lands End website in their Overstocks section. They are not damaged or less than perfect, they are overstocks. Oh well, guess I'll go order mine now.

I certainly would have ordered from the overstocks... but they didn't have DD's or DS's size in any of the sandals! Thanks for the tip though.
