Testing (less invasive?) and young kids

Hello all! Still weighing the pros/cons of a 2022 trip but trying to iron out some details before we decide.

I do know we need to have a molecular test done within 72 hours before returning at the moment, and I think that might still be required if we take our trip.

Since we have kids, just wondering if there are any less invasive tests (versus the "tickle your eyeball" type) we can look for prior to entry? Or is that type the only one available?

I've done the Walgreens ID Now and the Curative test and both were just 5 circles in the lower nostril and you do it yourself.

That's awesome. I'm pretty sheltered here (lol, rural area) so wasn't aware of the other types you could get. Did you have to test on the way there?

I went to Shoppers for my test to fly down. That was a different type but the same method.

I’ve only had the barely in nose one. Not sure the deep ones have been done since early 2020. My son does them no problem.

I live in a rural area that covid hasn't even hit yet so we are still behind with the times, lol. That's the only one I've heard of being done but I haven't looked into it either. Good to know other options are available

Thanks, I really appreciate the responses! There is a Shoppers close to our airport so they likely do that type. I'll go for that if we're able to go!
