testing countdown

I hope this works. but It didn't look like th countdown was there the messages were but, the count down didn't appear to be. I could not find the "submit modifications' button.
Here's hoping

PLease HELP. DH is a comp programmer but, he is baffled, but certainly won't touch anyone elses work.
