Testdrives?

Hey guys - I check out some other boards, and find the testdrives every once in a while. They seem to be pretty good money makers. I wanted to know if you guys thought they were worth it? Sounds easy enough really..... Do the salesmen harass you a lot? We don't need a new car, yet, although it's always nice to look and be prepared when we do.
What do you think?

I did the Ford Expedition one for the $75 MC gc. Well worth it. Some dealers will just sign your paper for you. Getting ready to do the Mazda one for a $35 Sharper Image gc. I got that one by email from Mazda. Well worth it.

I usually do $200-$300 worth of testdrives a year. I have an older car that could give up the ghost any day now, so I look at the testdrives as an opportunity to figure out what I want for my next vehicle.

Keep an eye on the Budget Board - many people post testdrive offers there.

Thanks for the hint about the budget board - never thought to check there.... I usually pick them up from mycoupons posters.

I sent away for the Aztec testdrive for DH and we received the voucher for $50. He is going to do it next week - it sure seems like an easy $50 - I mean, they can't MAKE you buy a car, right?

Okay, I've sent for some information but received just brochures. Do they send the paper for the test drive separately?
