And the French do not like Americans. They think they're rude etc. When my school went last year they called my teacher 'Un imbécile Americain' and he just about had an aneurysm. First, well we're not American, we're Canadian. Second of all, my teacher's ancestors are from Normandy and he's ridiculously proud of his heritage.
I'm going to try to be as polite as possible. My french is going to be horrible there.

There was an advert about voting for the Presidential Election by Starbucks, and they say if you go into a Starbucks on November 4th and say you voted, then they'll give you a free cup of coffee. As if that'll get people voting. Most people will just abuse it by not voting at all, and visiting all their local Stabucks' for a free coffee
