I've had people come in and buy stuff and somehow know my brother or my parents and ask me if I'm his sister or whatever and it's like 'yeah... but who are you?!'

And I have delayed reactions and then try to force myself to get words out.
It happens whenever someone says something to me that's kind of... shocking? I kinda have my mouth wide open and they repeat it.
