Test Track

Ok, how many of you agree with this...Test Track should do away with the first (inside) portion of the ride and just do about 4-5 minutes around the outside track....just a thought.

I like the whole ride, but I agree it needs some updating, maybe add some new surprises. It is looking really "aged" too.

i do agree however that there should be MORE outside and LESS inside, or if you are going to have the same amount of inside/outside then make the inside at least a little more adventourous. like... so you arent going SUPER SLOW down the hilly parts... a little speed would be nice!

While I would tend to agree, I also remember that the ride was already 3 years late in being completed due to different issues with the cars. Im sure the wear and tear on them is severe as is.

I do think the interior could look nicer than just a dark warehouse setting

I was so excited to ride Test Track, but I ended up being really disappointed. I just didn't find the ride much fun. I liked the outside part the best, but I do get why just having the outside part would be wrong. I liked the concept but not the ride. Maybe if they took epfootballcutie04's advice and made the inside part a little faster I'd enjoy it more.

We had this very talk after we rode the ride for the first time. My whole family agreed that there should be more "race" My 4 year old couldn't get enough of the ride. He loves speed. The faster the better.

We were on Test Track and it came to a stop - in the cold room. Brrrrrrrrr.

My thoughts exactly. And it would be nice if it was faster. I drive 80 on the highway and that is not a thrill ride.

I like it the way it is. I think it would be boring if all you did was do laps around the outside. It's nice that there is some variety.
What would make it even better would be if they could add more "tests" and then vary them so that each time you went through the ride you got a different set of tests to go through-- each route culminating with the laps outside.

The operative word here being "laps"....they definitely need to have more than the one lap...that's the best part of the ride!

I like the whole ride. The first part isn't 'thrilling' but it is entertaining. The part I wish they would do away with is the pounding music that you hear while you are in line.

Yes.. they really should get rid of that awful music I like the ride the way it is, it would be rather boring without the part inside.... although it could use a longer outside portion.. maybe another banked turn or something. But the inside definitely adds to the ride as a whole.

I absolutely love Test Track! We've ridden it several times before, however try it at night. The last time we got to ride it before our August trip, we happened to get on at 8:50 right before the park closed. When we came out onto the outside loop, it just so happened that the Illuminations fireworks had started up. It was so beautiful to do that loop with fireworks right over our heads, it was an amazing experience!

I agree with the majority -- extend the outside part, have more banked turns, and make it go faster. YEAH baby!!!

I love the ride as it is. That said, it would be great if they could give it a companion track that was fast and long. Say follow the the old monorail line out into the park and back again. You would not only get your speed but you be able to ride one and fast pass the other for when you came off the first.

Oh Yeah, and just think of the views of Epcot you would have on that new ride.
