We will be in Disney in 6 weeks!:cool1: test track will have only been open for approx. one week, and I am trying to figure out ride order due to this. Normally we would get FP for Soarin, ride Soarin SB, Sum of all thrills, and THEN test track. Any thoughts on if we should change ride order? We only have one rope drop in Epcot this trip and want to maximize!:rolleyes1 thanks!

Swap TT and SoAT.

Thanks for the input! Kind of what I was leaning towards since only DH and DD will do Sum.....so the thinking is keep Soarin at the top of the list....Will do!

Keep in mind though, that the new Test Track has a queue where you design your own car. If you FP it, then you get a pre-designed car.
I personally think I might stalk some sites/apps a few days for the current wait times beforehand and see about when the line builds up.

Traditionally the single rider line for TT is much quicker than fast pass.

Taking the Single Rider route assumes that guests don't mind splitting up with their own group and riding with strangers.

The idea of single rider is ok by me, any idea if you skip the pre ride with single rider? I want to design my own car at least once!

So I hopped on here because I've been reading about the new TT and there's something that's been bugging me. If the car seats six, and you get to "design your own car" to test on the track, how do all six get to make their own to test? This may seem silly and may have already been answered somewhere on here, but I haven't seen it. I'm just curious because I'm going with a large group in February and could work as a team if that's the way it's set up, but I don't think It would work if random people were grouped. Does this make sense?

Good question! And will it make that much difference to the experience if you get to design your own, or is it just a ploy to pass the time while you are in the SB line?

Give this a read.

I have no idea what it will really be like, but I suspect it's going to be closer to the way you design your own ending on Spaceship Earth.. My wild guess is that each passenger will design personal car specifications. The entire ride car would go through the test track and then each passenger might get a display rating showing how well their own car "performed".

Update: I just read the post above mine. I guess I was close lol.

Thanks! That definitely the best explanation I've seen. I know my dad is going to love this.

Wasn't open today, but the audio was playing.. and here's the view from the monorail:
